Privacy Policy
There is no account, so there is no name, no password and nothing to sign in to. What we keep is the order itself, the addresses you gave and the amounts, plus ordinary web logs. The one thing you choose to give us is an email, and only if you want updates about your order. Leave the email blank and the order is anonymous to us as well.
What we collect
SpanSwap does not use accounts, logins, or wallet connections. What we do collect:
- Order data: the chains, tokens, and amounts you choose, and the destination and refund addresses you provide. These are necessary to execute your bridge and are recorded permanently on the public blockchains involved regardless of anything we do.
- Site analytics: page views and how long each page is on screen, the referral code of the link you arrived by (if any), referrer, browser/language headers, the country your connection comes from (the country only, nothing finer), and a hashed (not raw) IP address, tied to a random session cookie — not to any identity. See "Cookies" below.
- Support chat messages: if you use the chat widget, your messages and our replies are stored to provide support and improve the automated FAQ bot.
We do not collect names, government ID, or any other identity information, and we do not ask for any. You may give an email address when you place an order; it is optional, it is used only to tell you when that order completes, fails or is refunded, and it is stored with the order.
Cookies and browser storage
We set one cookie (bridge_session) — a random value with no identity attached, used only to group your page views and chat messages together across a visit. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
If you arrive through a referral link, your browser also stores that referrer's code and the time you clicked, so the referral still counts if you come back to place your order later. It holds nothing about you, is never sent anywhere except back to this site with your own order, and clearing your browser data removes it.
How we use this data
To operate the service (executing bridges, providing support), to detect and prevent abuse (rate limiting), and to understand site usage in aggregate. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to execute your bridge.
Data retention
Order records are retained indefinitely for accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal-compliance purposes. Analytics data is retained for a limited period for operational purposes and is not tied to any identity.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data we hold, including hashing IP addresses rather than storing them raw, and restricting administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, and blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed — see our Terms of Use for the risks involved in using this service.
Your rights
Since we don't collect identity information, there is generally no "your account" to access or delete. If you have a specific privacy question about an order, use the support chat on this site and quote the order ID.

We may update this policy from time to time; the version shown here is always current.
